Hey everyone, I recently bought a vintage Hein Gericke leather jacket. It only says “real leather” on the inside, so I’m not sure what type of leather it is. I attached some pictures in the post.
I’m unsure what products I should use for care. Can I use normal oil-based leather products, or would leather milk/conditioner be better? I read that open-pore leather should be treated differently. The jacket looks a bit open-pore to me, but that could also just be because of its age and lack of care from the previous owner.
Any advice would be appreciated!
