I want to know the realistic yearly cost for an international student living there in 2026.

I’m not talking about a luxury lifestyle or “study abroad as tourism” 😅

I mean a normal student lifestyle:

•	staying in dorm or cheap rental

•	eating normally

•	not partying a lot

•	not traveling all the time

•	trying to save money seriously

So realistically:

•	How much do you spend per month/year?

•	Is RM 35k–45k per year realistic including tuition?

•	What are the hidden costs people usually underestimate?

Especially if you are currently studying at UPSI or living in Tanjung Malim, I’d really appreciate honest answers. Thanks.
