Maintenance/Is this ok?

new to carbon steel, burnt some food on it. tried to scrape off the extra burnt black bits but wondering if its fine to keep on. If I should scrape it off any tips?

What the title says, no other options are relevant for me (except for the Vic Fibrox maybe). MAC seams to be tougher steel and I like the wood handle, but longer and more fragile. I am more used to the Zwilling style, the blade is stamped instead of forged. Thoughts?
