Is calling someone “My Aphrodite” or saying that they are how Aphrodite would appear for me offensive to Aphrodite herself?

Hello! I am not exactly sure what exact label I fall under for religion, but I do believe in the Greek gods. I may not be super-religious. I may not have strong connections with my gods as I would like to. I also do not know a whole lot about the practices and such. I do know that they are what I believe in.

I am not totally oblivious to my gods, such as Aphrodite. I know Aphrodite is the goddess of things including but not limited to love and beauty. I know Aphrodite can appear different to each person, fitting the person’s definition of the perfect beauty. I know calling someone more beautiful than Aphrodite is wrong and offensive towards Aphrodite herself.

I am currently a 17yo boy (He/It pronouns) dating a 17yo enby. One of my first compliments to them was from before we got into a relationship as a comment under one of their Instagram post. I said something along the lines of “You are so beautiful. You are extremely blessed by Aphrodite herself.” I haven’t made a similar compliment since, the thought hasn’t crossed my mind since.

Today, me and my enby girlfriend are currently on FaceTime, they propped their phone up on the counter and got into the shower with their camera on. When they got out, as they got dressed I saw a perfect view of their absolutely stunning body. I couldn’t help but stare, I had no lust or sexual intent either. I was silenced with awe as I admired my girlfriend’s naked body for its beauty.

My immediate thought was to tell them that they are blessed by Aphrodite herself, then I hesitated. I have told a few people they are blessed by Aphrodite, including friends. I reserve such a high compliment for those I find extremely beautiful, but not exactly my definition of beauty. My girlfriend, however. Is so unbelievably beautiful in my eyes. I want to tell they are how Aphrodite herself would appear for me. As my girlfriend is my definition of beauty. I don’t want to offend Aphrodite though as I do respect her a lot.
