Bluetooth Issues After Hanging Up/Receiving a Phone Call (Pixel 8 Pro)
Ok so this is a weird one. I have a Google Pixel 8 Pro, and have generally enjoyed the phone. But recently, I have had a very weird issue with my bluetooth. Whenever I end a phone call that I take while connected to Bluetooth, my music will suddenly pause and the device I'm connected to will say I'm on a phone call with myself. If I try to hang up, the "phone call" immediately restarts and if I try to restart my music, it sounds very distorted, as if it's playing on the other end of a phone call. These "phone calls" can happen immediately after hanging up, but sometimes they take a few minutes to start. There is no indication on my phone itself that this is happening, but it happens across at least 2 cars and 2 pairs of headphones, so I assume this is a problem with my phone.
Previously, the only way to get the "phone calls" to stop was to turn off my Bluetooth, wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on. But for the past few days, this isn't working and I have had to restart my phone (turning the Bluetooth off on the car/turning my headphones off does not seem to fix the issue).
Here's what I have tried so far:
-Forgetting and re-pairing all my devices
-Resetting my Bluetooth and WiFi settings
I have also seen that clearing the storage and cache for my Bluetooth may help, but when I get to that part of my phone the "Clear Storage" and "Clear Cache" options are grayed out.
This has been driving me insane for months now so any insight would be greatly appreciated.
