
Why is Support Nejire so Unfair

Froppy (in mhur) I hate you. I hate how people justify you, I hate how people use you, I hate this game and the players who play you. It is an active choice to be a little weirdo and play this stupid frog and I despise you for it.
Okay but for real I genuinely hate how froppy is in this game. The reason I dislike froppy is the same reason why I hate a lot of characters in this game, they do everything. Froppy is extremely good at covering ground, supporting her team, and staying alive without her team.
Okay so we can get the elephant out of the way here, her special action. An instant reviving grab that happens so fast she can pop it, use it, and dip in the same breath. Now i'd understand it if she was like slower, had more support oriented moves, stuff like that BUT NO SHE CAN LITERALLY ZIP AROUND THE MAP BECAUSE SHE'S A SPEEDSTER CHARACTER. Byking. Are we serious? We can't be, clearly these classes were made as jokes or something because some of these these characters straight up do whatever they want. Nejire is only classified as a support because her moves heal, if they didn't heal and she had a different gamma, straight up she'd be one of the top strike Characters in the game. Off topic. Froppy's special action on paper isn't bad it's just the fact they gave it to someone so fast. With the 3 other characters that have special actions that interact with downed teammates they all have limited mobility except kurogiri because he can't instantly revive a teammate. See they can revive from afar however they can't get their teammate out of the spot their in while doing so. Straight up with froppy if you're in a fight and you die, as long as she's relatively close to you, you're surviving.
Okay so what? A good special action doesn't make a character annoying, sure it counts as a revive so reinforced revive works with it so whenever you're fighting someone and they get revived by froppy they're at 3/4th of their HP but that's all characters with revive special actions, who cares. What's it matter I'm sure the moves balance it out. No. Actually not at all. So she has a great mobility move with her alpha. Negligible damage not too bad, then there's her lame beta. Y'know if she's in the air, which her alpha puts her in the air, she slams down for like 62 dmg. This stuns you but doesn't knock so she can just use her beta on the floor and do another 74 dmg. Not too bad but y'know if she has a team and hits you with the first beta, they can just kill you before you hit the ground. At level 9 it does 190 dmg together NOT TOO BAD but annoying paired with everything else. With her alpha clearing distance to use beta isn't difficult seeing as it's a fat and fast move. It's just a great move overall in a crazy character but her gamma is the fairest move.
Just turns her translucent. It's annoying for item box seeing as she can just go invisible and get it. That and final zone because she can just hide and heal the entire time and sneak you then dip. It's fine? Like it's just the cherry on top y'know? Amajiki can also turn invisible. I don't really care it's just a good move to have.
It's not the moves by themselves that make froppy annoying for me it's the combination of them that make fighting froppy genuinely unfun. She is one of the only characters I will always tbag no matter what because genuinely every froppy player I've ever played with has been the weirdest person I've ever had the misfortune of communicating with or they're toxic in game for no reason. Personally if you choose to play Froppy for anything besides missions or like she's your favorite character I think you're weird. If you play Froppy because you know she's annoying please don't ever say you're good, just be a big kid and admit you suck at the game 💔. Let it be known that I actually like Tsu in the show, she's just extremely annoying in this game. It was like the whiplash I got when I got green overhaul for the first time because he was my favorite and figured out he couldn't do anything without his opponent being on the ground. I love Froppy in MHA,I despise with all my heart whatever that abomination is this game.
So we can be obvious and say Nagant and Nejire's alpha is annoying but today I speak about another annoying character with a busted alpha. Actually 2. Red and Blue deku.
First I want to ask why. For what purpose do both of these characters have such strong alphas well let me explain. First with red Deku.
I know I called Nejire a machine gun last time but genuinely what the actual Byking is this. It's less than 4 seconds to use all your 6 alpha at BASE. That's not even the worse part even if you're only hitting the 3 in the middle you're doing 42 per tick, in less than 4 seconds you can shred someone go instantly. That's level 1. So yeah that's fair. Totally balanced. Level one move that does 280 dmg in less than 4 seconds. If you're close it's less than 3. Okay so that's level 1 can't get worse right? Incorrect. Actually the level 9 is horrific. 4. Just four of these assuming you hit every shot, gaurd breaks you and leaves you a fourth of your hp. 440 dmg IN ~3 SECONDS WITH ONE MOVE UNTUNED. The plus ultra version is even worse, it literally leaves you with like an 8th of your hp.
But y'know what that's unfair to the red deku players, I get that most of their moves are up close and more than likely they'll be hitting the full fan but let's just say you're lazy or are far way. 5. 5 is all you need to put someone at max gp to half hp from the like medium distance but if you're far then it's a measly 6. Y'know a staggering 4 seconds of your time to completely erase someone. So yeah he can just execute anyone w/o tuning btw. These are BASE DAMAGE and JUST using alpha. Oh yeah I'm adding this later because I forgot to but, with 2 red cards and plus ultra you can kill someone with 4 shots.
Now with just a teenie bit of aiming a practice you can do gamma → beta and straight up insta kill anyone without gp. Now I know lots of characters can do that but just because a fallacy is accepted does not mean it's correct. I think combos are cool, I like ass haul and (unfortunately) red hawks because they combo which red hawks also has the problem of insane ones however I think they shouldn't MURDER you instantly like a certain someone, he's getting his own post.
Okay enough about Red Deku we have to talk about his older brother, Blue Deku. Now his alpha is just annoying. Not a pencil sharpener like Red but not fair either. You charge for half a second then blast out a quick 80 dmg, 95 at max. It's a great tool and I'd say it's a good alpha for the character, however the jump version is annoying. If you jump and alpha at around the same time, you're still close enough off the ground to, alpha → melee. Now I know, I know, you have to do the groundbreaking task of getting close. Y'know when you have 2 moves that dash you forward and a special action that makes you faster. So you can get overdrive off that but it hard knocks. It also does like 60% of their HP but we'll keep moving.
So assuming you activated gearshift and hit the combo, you basically won, if they got gaurdbroken then you win. All you have to do is wait for them to get up, Gamma → Melee and they're dead. That's not factoring in his beta. So you just charge for half a second then dash forward for damage, pretty fair but it's like a missle, randomly during matches you get 100 hp taxed from you because the dude can literally fly so hitting it isn't hard. But y'know he have quintuple which I never really cared for. I mean sure it shreds 200 hp but it's really only good of he's like above you in final zone or in a room. Or if you just use common sense, look for people, use gamma → gamma → beta → hold special action → USE YOUR EYES AND FIND PEOPLE → hold beta. That's a nuke of 160+ dmg. Now that's actually a fun way to use the character however it still is insane because deku can stay in the airborne for 15 seconds. His moves are fun just paired together I think it's annoying. Oh yeah for the combo you can slightly change it if you have plus ultra gamma*2 → beta*2 → Plus Ultra → special action hold → beta → hold beta. That gets you to sky box most of the time, I just tried it on the usj from the water and it reaches.
In conclusion, I really hate these characters who have broken alphas, my next post will cover the rat characters.
Why in the world does this character exist? Who wanted this stupid character added in this game. She can fly indefinitely, had massive alphas that die crazy damage and heal, has a massive beta, and on top of all this she can give her teammates over shield and heal them. What part about that is fair? What part about that is skilled? How did you have fun genuinely playing this baby easy character?
My main issue is her alpha. Why in the world can she fucking fly and rain her alphas nonstop which EXPLODE and Heal her teammates? For what purpose does she need 10 alphas? Genuinely I think Byking doesn't play their game because there's no way they see these characters like Toga and Nejire and think they did a good job balancing the character.
Side bit, why does matchmaking also suck? I remember i was expert two and wonder why my teammates were so shit and these guys are gold 1 or JUST getting into expert 1, like first match in expert 1, then the people I fight are almost exclusively Ace. It just confuses me why the team imbalance is so noticable.
