I'm using a Nikon D3500 with Sigma 150-600mm Sport lens, and Darktable for editing. Both images are only lightly edited for exposure, shadows, and/or cropped. I've only been at it a few months, so any tips (especially with getting more out of Darktable) are welcome. If anybody knows a way to get the photo of the Prothonotary less grainy, I would LOVE that.
