Which is easier to drive: motor home towing a car trailer or 5th wheel, assuming they’re both pretty long?

Brand new to this and exploring options! Thanks!! 😊

Motorhome/5th Wheel/Travel Trailer? Which one and why?

Hello! We are BRAND NEW to RV-ing! In our 50’s and work part-time from home. Kids in college and super independent. Thinking this would be a great way to spend time together and explore the country.

I am LONGING for nature and to see the beautiful parts of this country that I’ve never seen. While we still can.

We are not outdoorsy lol. But would like to be. I have literally never been camping. It’s a sad but unfortunate truth.

We like nice things. 😆

We want to explore as much as we can but will likely be limited to easy hikes due to stupid inflammatory arthritis and a fucked up foot.

Definitely need daily showers, AC, and internet.

We have a small dog that is our BABY. 🐶🐾🦴

We have a Yukon GMC that can haul a decent amount I think. We are open to replacing it if needed but the idea of having a big loud pickup truck for a daily car is not super appealing.

I think we will definitely want to have an automobile we can use to explore while our RV is parked.

I think we would likely leave for two weeks at a time throughout the year. Maybe three at the most.

If you’ve made it this far THANK YOU haha. What would you recommend?

I’m grateful for your responses! I have ZERO idea where to start!
