I'm sure this gets asked a lot, but any advice on what sort of things I should be checking for / wary of would be appreciated.
I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, and want to avoid finance at this stage, and I'm happy to buy from private sellers, but aware that there can be pitfalls.
As it's a first car, I'm not too bothered about mileage and so on, as it's going to be a practice car, so to speak, and just to help me get experienced on the road.
