Abate has emerged as a leading candidate after impressing in his early coaching career.

The coach enjoyed a highly successful spell with Milan’s Primavera side, guiding them to strong results in youth competitions, before continuing his development at Juve Stabia.

I'm happy for Abate personally and would love to see him continue his growth in the league. At the same time, it feels like we really let go an emerging coaching talent that we so badly need with the Futuro/Primavera. Also concerned if that means Sassuolo would pick off players Abate coached like Camarda, Zeroli etc.

Either way....just another reminder of this management dropping the ball on our player/coach pipeline.
