Hi, I’ve been trying to find a definitive answer if I were to upgrade my Ableton 11 Suite to Ableton 12 Suite (I mean purchase the $250 upgrade, not buy a whole new license) would I still be able to use my Ableton 11 Suite subscription or no?

I’m wondering because my friend has an older MacBook and he uses one of my two licenses for Ableton 11 & I’m afraid if I upgrade to 12 he won’t be able to use 11 anymore — because in theory that would take away his ability to produce which is NOT what I’m trying to do.

He can’t afford a new MacBook or computer so I’m trying to help me out by sharing my subscription but I wanna personally upgrade to 12 but again I’m afraid it’s gonna stop him/no longer allow him access to the 11 software.
