So I want to start by saying I did absolutely adore this book, but I technically DNFed it at the last chapter or two. The plot and the characterizations I really loved but I got to the final smut scene, the 'finally everyone is happy and together' and I just couldn't get through it. I think. The author is brilliant with plot just not quite as strong with smut, which was just a bit jarring. That said still absolutely rating it a 4.75 at least. I would love to hear it I was the only one thrown off or not and I would love to know if you guys have any recommendations for OV with abuse and a good grovel with maybe less jarring smut?
