Doesn’t happen for months at a time and then happens all at once

The first episode I had was around 2021-22, and since it was the first time, I was obviously extremely alarmed. I went to the ER, but since I was 21 at the time, the doctor told me not to worry about it. About a year passed by with no other reoccurrences, but then it happened again. I took the doctor’s word for it and didn’t worry about it. But since then, it’s happened every ~8-10 months with episodes lasting ~2-3 days each time. I was just wondering if this happens to anyone else. Is this normal? Some of the episodes are white and bright red blood, others are more diluted and pinkish. Almost every time it happens, I get a burning sensation on the tip of my penis — but I don’t think it’s a UTI, as I never have any other symptoms and the burning goes away once the blood goes away (vs turning into a kidney infection for ex). Sexual activity is fairly frequent (a couple times per week on average), but masturbation is almost daily, which I heard could be another cause.
