What Would Be Considered a Fair Price for Multiple Long Taxi/Hospital Drives Around Jajce, Bosnia?
My partner and I are currently in Jajce, Bosnia and had a local man drive us back and forth to hospital over 2 days during a stressful situation.
We had 4 rides total, each about 1.5 hours, including late at night and early the next morning.
I’m trying to work out what would generally be considered a fair amount to pay in this region for that kind of help, as he hasn't given me a number.
From what I can gather online, normal taxi rates in Bosnia are quite low, but this also felt more like a private long-distance/on-call arrangement than standard taxi trips.
Does anyone local to Bosnia (or familiar with the region) know roughly what would be considered reasonable for:
4 long drives late-night / early-morning pickups possible waiting time at hospital rural/mountain driving around the Jajce region
I mainly just want to make sure we compensate him fairly and aren’t unintentionally underpaying.
