Worth starting the interactive process? [IL]
My manager complains that I can’t hear her when she talks, or people on calls. I have explained that it is because I have tinnitus and sit directly below a very noisy air vent. She has denied my requests to change desks or to take calls in an unused meeting room. Is it worth getting a letter from my doctor and seeking accommodations from HR? We are a fairly large company but there is only one full-time HR manager plus some remote part-time assistants.
