How GT7 keeps killing my motivation
Sunday Cup, max. PP 400, Goodwood. I like to moderately challenge myself, so I took a bone stock Peugeot 205 GTI, 396 PP. 1st try, total time 6:51, winning AI time 6:42. So I, practiced a little, hitting like 6:40, but AI managed 6:37. Next try I manage 6:37, coming in 2nd, 0.9 seconds behind. Failed another 2-3 times, barely. New strategy, crappier tires, but new Turbo, hitting 399 PP. Took some getting used to, sliding lots more, but faster on straights. At first slower overall. Then, hitting 6:34 BUT NOW THE AI IS DOING 6:30s, FFS.
In the end, I drove 190km total for that miserable little Sunday Cup, because AI kept improving to be juuuuust out of reach. In the end I won with a 6:30, skipping the chicane completely because I was fed up.
Anyone else have that type of experiene with the game??
