Let me say that I love my Kobra 3 v2 and have been printing relatively problem free since I got it. That being said I’m the closest I’ve ever been to chucking it.
I’ve printed about 60 of these necklaces using a clear blue PLA with minimal issues. However I’ve been having an issue I can’t diagnose where the print will start out great but that halfway through the printer will clog but continue printing with no extrusion.
It only seems to happen with the clear PLA and not any other filament and I clean the extruder gears thoroughly every time it clogs. I’ve tried using hardened steel and brass nozzles, raising the print temps to 225, lowering print speed to about 55 mm/s, used two different brands of clear blue filament, I’ve even tried using an entirely new hotend and I still can’t figure out why it clogs mid-print every time.
I need to print about ten more for a bunch of 4th and 5th graders putting on a play next week and I’m getting about as frustrated as I’ve ever been. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
