I rescued this poor girl from a Facebook marketplace post rehoming her for free. She looked like she was in so much pain and I just had to help her. She’s currently still in her bowl but with cycled water and plants and gravel from my established tank, a heater and an airstone since she seems to be having trouble breathing. Also no light and lotssss of tannins
She just floats at the top of the water and barely moves, only moving to take occasional breaths of air. But a few times, she’s had bursts of lots of energy where she does super fast laps around the bowl before returning to her normal behavior.
She’s eating well, I’ve been feeding her a few brine shrimp a day (today is day two with her)
I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions/advice on how to help her as I’ve barely had experience medicating a betta or dealing with a betta quite as sick as her.
