Hey guys, I'm currently an SDE1 in a reputed company in its domain, one of the top 3. The work here was good initially, i got to learn a lot when i joined, but now the work is more inclined towards business context and less tech and problem solving. It's more tech-enabled than deep-tech.
I'm leaving my current company for a higher base salary (20LPA -> 25LPA) but I'm leaving the bonus from the previous company( I can't stay till my bonus because the startup was hiring right now).
I'm quite confused, If I join -> more deep tech work, better engineering skills, more learning and ownership, but more toxic, more hours, less time for health like gym/swimming.
If I stay -> more business context work, little bit more time for gym, bonus, but less tech learning, less learning.
What do you guys think, please suggest, other than waiting till the bonus and then resign.
