Hello,
I’ve recently found my old iPod and tried transferring my Apple music onto it from my MacBook 13 pro. While doing so it only showed as a disk and somehow I think I made it connect to my whole computers disk, due to it changing the general name of it to IPod. I don’t know if I fucked it up by doing so as it hasn’t shown any bugs other than the name change on the Disk Utility Window, I don’t want to mess with anything else just incase I make it worse. I changed the name to “Laptop”, and restarted my computer, but other than that I haven’t messed with it further. There’s a few questions I have, which I’ll list below:
1.)Is it messed up or did it just change the Disk name for the fun of the game?
2.)If it wasn’t only a name change, what’s the best next steps to take to fix this issue? Especially since it doesn’t let me eject or erase the disk.
3.)If it’s not messed up, does anyone know of a simple way to transfer Apple music onto my iPod from my Mac or even iPhone?! It is an old iPod (IPod Nano 3rd generation) so I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t work, but if there’s a possibility, any advice helps!!
