Looking for recommendations of books with more of a deep, forward moving plot/story element rather than just beating random monsters then number-go-up over and over. Also nothing where the story gets stuck on one scene forever. Good writing is a plus.

More like: Bog Standard Isekai, Threadbare, Iron Prince, All The Skills, Soldier’s Life, Dungeon Born

Less like: Azarinth Healer, Primal Hunter, Battle Trucker, DOTF,

Special mentions: Chrysalis somehow does both and the monster smashing is actually nicely woven into the story. So any recs similar to that are welcomed also
