New build or upgrade?
- New build
Existing parts/monitors to reuse?
- Nothing to reuse
PC purpose?
- Gaming (not too performance demanding ones i think)
- Minecraft
- Tabletop simulator
- Slay the spire 2
- Ultrakill
- Movies (I don't have room for a tv, so I want to contribute a good amount of budget for a good monitor)
- University work (shouldn’t factor in, just in browser writing like in google docs & canvas)
- I’m often on a call with friends and also might have tabs open for music, etc. so i’d like to be able to have those running while doing other things like gaming
Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
- In the United States, ~2 hours from a microcenter
Monitors needed?
- Yes, important as mentioned before
- I was looking into this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-2560x1440-Compatible-DisplayPort-Q27GAZD/dp/B0FTS1KC43?th=1, It looked like a good price for an OLED, but I’m not fixed on this.
Budget range?
- Hoping to go under ~$1500 including the monitor, but i’m flexible. Really looking for the lowest price necessary for what I described, since I think ‘future proofing’ isn’t a good idea in this market.
WiFi or wired connection?
- I’d like to have the ability to do either
Size/noise constraints?
- I’d prefer it quieter if possible
Color/lighting preferences?
- N/a
Any other specific needs?
- N/a
