Picked up the engagement ring today and I’m honestly happy with how it turned out. My mom offered me one of her diamond earrings for the center stone, which made the whole thing feel really special to me. I love the idea of it becoming a family heirloom one day.
The diamond is a 2.3 ct natural round, M color, VS2 in a Tacori platinum pavé setting. I was nervous the warmth of the stone would stand out too much against the platinum and side diamonds, but I honestly think it turned out pretty well.
Planning on proposing in September. Wish me luck!
