Regarding Orange Piccolo’s future potential.

Toyotaro mentioned in an interview that Orange Piccolo received a major power boost, putting him around Goku and Vegeta’s level during the Super Hero arc. I’m not sure if that meant Super Saiyan Blue, or Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego.

Since Piccolo’s power came from Shenron and does not seem to involve God Ki, could learning God Ki make him even stronger?

Piccolo already has a divine connection through Kami, who was Earth’s guardian and fused with him years ago. Because of that, I think there is some narrative logic for Piccolo potentially accessing divine power. He also feels like a more natural candidate than Gohan, since Gohan seems committed to his own path with Beast Mode rather than God Ki.

I’m not saying Piccolo needs to become a God of Destruction, but with his long lifespan, wisdom, and connection to Kami, I think divine power could be an interesting next step for him.

Since Dragon Ball has shown us that techniques can evolve, like Ultra Instinct, do you think it would be possible to see an “evolution” of the Kaioken?

I know Goku already pushed the Kaioken to its limit with Kaioken x20, but I was wondering if another character could perhaps master the technique in a different way. Maybe someone with greater control could take it even further or develop a new version that does not put as much strain on the user’s body.

This could allow Ultra Instinct to remain Goku’s unique path, while Kaioken could be given to another character. Krillin would be an interesting option, since he has excellent control over several techniques. Goten could also be a good candidate, especially if the story wanted to bring him closer to the spotlight alongside fighters like Goku, Vegeta, Broly, Gohan, Piccolo, and others.
