Any tips with getting back into venus's orbit? i've already got a space station there so fuel isn't a problem

I know it's an old game but it was my childhood, and i've been trying for days to get it to work on windows.

i've tried PCME, i've tried installing the ISO, then installing it, wich got me farther than the rest, but when i try to open the game it has some kind of seizure and then closes. I've tried putting the DDRAW.DLL file into the directory folder, and that made the seizure less bad but it still stays black and closes after a minute.
