hope i worded that well id really like to wrap my head around this! I know tbat every object in the universe is moving at the same rate through the 4th dimension of time, the only difference is the direction we take in space, which is what we perceive as an objects speed.
So for more time to pass relative to one twin does it have to be that theyve taken a different path through space and all its wobbles and dips through gravity. Or is it just the closer to light speed that the twin travels that makes the time difference ?
like at light speed distances shrink, so they will have moved through so much space compared to the other twin. But If they then slow down and wait for the other slower moving twin to catch up just at a slower speed, will their clocks still be different even though they travelled the same path? Or will the universes expansion stop it from happening?
Gosh its hard to word a question about something you don’t understand yet
