any advice to get a stuck trunk open?
so i just my beetle back from the shop and the guy accidentally closed it too hard and now it locked itself up. i removed the trunk unlock latch a while ago because it was broken and cut the cable but however i left enough to maybe pull it from the access panel which i thankfully got off
what do i need to do here? i am trying to figure out what i need to do on this to unlock it. i assume i could pull that cable
would hate to cut a latch to be honest
i plan to buy a trunk release and probably replace all of this once i get it open
