Hi, I’m a 3 year partner in Canada, and I would like to take 2-3 months off for travel.

Can someone explain how time off works? Specifically:

1. can I take time off for 2 months straight while remaining employed?

2. if I take 2 months off, how much of it is paid vs. unpaid?

3. can this be done annually?

4. does what I’m describing fall into a leave of absence policy?
