"technical issues" not a bug but a delay tactic
Went to get my family's meds at Walgreens today and after waiting 3o mins, was told insurance was not covering the meds that has been in use for 4 years, same dose for 3 of those years. Was told it was because we had enough supply. Last supply I was given was a 30 day and this was up yesterday. Family member has only 1 day dosage left. could not collect before today because was told too soon. now today being told not covered.
Pharmacist called insurance with issue, as doesn't make sense. Valid Rx on file. Insurance said they are having technical issues, and try again tomorrow. No guarantee it will be paid, but "assurances".
This is just the latest in tactics by corporate america: hid behind technical issues to not pay.
Will be watching this closely. Unforgivable for a billion dollar company
