Hi all!

We found this kitten two days ago in our barn and she has been such a trooper. We think that she fell down from the barn loft where all of our other barn cats are. My fiance found her covered in blood down from her chin and on her chest, but once we cleaned her up we havent seen any injuries or cuts. However, she's very lethargic and we think she's extremely malnourished. She had tonssssss of fleas, and we've given her three baths with dish soap already (throughout the two days) and have combed her for hours. Obviously, this made her very sleepy, but we had to get rid of the fleas so she could stand a chance to be less anemic. We took her to the vet and he said that she's anemic from blood loss and the fleas, and malnourished.

I'm syringe feeding her about 1ML of KMR every 3 hours or so. She threw up an hour after we gave her 2ML (was kind of fast as we were getting a handle on the syringe, and she had been given dewormer at the vet a few hours earlier) but has tolerated 5 feeds of 1ML since, spaced about 3-4 hours apart depending on her warmth and wakefulness. She is swallowing and walking fine. Vet checked her and said she seems okay neurologically, and no broken bones or anything, just needs some TLC. She's peed and pooped all by herself, and meows for us. Since her 3rd flea bath, her mouth and tounge have been getting pinker, not healthy level pink, but not that stark white, can't see any pink at all, pale. Her tounge almost looks like a pink, healthy kitten tounge, but her gums are still very pale. When we first found her, her tounge was white all around the edges, and now its pretty consistently pink.

Yesterday, we took her over to the barn to see if her mom was there and maybe could feed her. No such luck, mom didn't even come sniff at her. We weren't able to find any of the other kittens. Then we went to the vet to get her checked out. Vet offered to run a glucose panel, but also said it wasn't necessary as she's clearly anemic and hypoglycemic. He said to syringe feed her and keep her warm, and eventually get her on a flea preventative when she's stronger.

I want to make sure im doing an okay job for this little lady. How long will it take for her to not be so lethargic? Also, does my feeding schedule sound okay? I'm going off of google because the vet kind of gave us no real instructions.
