Yes I know its a cost of doing business, but this inexplicable behaviour on the part of guests is driving me crazy. Please tell me other hosts have guests who do this!!

Just had a group where 11 of 13 towels were unrecoverable with makup & fake tan stains (despite my VERY robust & painstaking stain removal process - so don't need any advice on that - this level of staining was extreme). Huge waste of money and time spent on stain removal to then have to replace anyway. Has happened several times.

What is it with people?!?! Why don't they use the black, clearly labelled and obvious towels provided for makeup??!!! I'd be so embarrassed to stay somewhere and leave towels in the state mine were left in.
