SteamOS on the Legion Go 2
It actually works somewhat better than expected in some ways? And then other ways it’s kinda bricked. Sleep-wake works flawlessly, HDR for Cronos: the new dawn works to my knowledge, Helldivers 2 HDR does not work sadly. And for some reason one of my menu buttons open up the keyboard in pc mode which is useful but in gamepad mode it opens the keyboard, turns on the text to speech narrator, AND acts as a map button for the game?(not specific to just Helldivers) What the hell? There is no way to change it the bindings are that of a steam deck so I have no idea what to do about that. Battery life got basically twice as good according to the estimate it gives you. It said I can play Cronos for 2 hours on 50% battery I didn’t stick to find out I’ll have to test it. And also on top of that Cronos runs with like 3x the performance as windows cuz of shit drivers? And I had ONE crash so far on Cult of the Lamb when I pressed bully follower. This is my first experience with SteamOS and I really enjoy how console-like it feels, some of the settings are a bit confusing or put in dumb spots but still great operating system.
