Which one should I return? Pixel 9 Pro Fold or Samsung Galaxy Fold 7?

So in update to my previous post. I decided to buy both the Galaxy Fold 7 and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold from Cex in the UK. Both are second hand B grade phones (slight scratches on the hardware, not on the actual screen). I brought them online so I have 14 days to return one of them.

I brought the Pixel for £625 and the Fold 7 for £860. I have only used it for one day properly amd I'm still struggling to decide which to keep. I dont want to keep them both for 2 weeks then decide as I worry that one of them may be damaged due to having kids, then I wont be able to return it. Please see my thoughts below

  1. One thing which I have no doubt about, is that the camera is definitley better on the Pixel, The way pictures look is amazing and in a few weeks I am going on a cruise and would like to take some amazing pictures so I am inclined to choose the Pixel for that.

  2. The Fold 7's Hardware for me really stands out and feels more premium, I also enjoyed viewing media on the Samsung such as Netflix and Disney+. Samsung feels more reactive and more natural to me as I am coming from using a Flip 4 and a Tab 8 Ultra. I also like the Multi-tasking options on the Fold 7, however if I am being real with myself, I am never really going to use more than 2 tabs.

I havent done a deep dive into both phones yet, however I am looking at many videos and still it hasnt brought me closer to making a decision. Do I stay with what is familiar and looks way better in my humble opinion but potentially has worse battery life (I am out all day at work and listen to podcasts so I need it to at least be 20% by the evening). Or do I go with the older phone, that has better camera and battery life but it doesnt seem as smooth as the Fold 7 or as premium.

I would love to hear your opinions on which I should keep? Is paying an extra £235 worth it to keep the Fold 7?

Addionionally, with the Pixel, there is like a crunching sound every time I open the phone. I also heard the same thing on the Fold but it is a lot quieter. Both are silent when closing the phone, Is this a problem?

If I can give you some insight into my daily routine, hopefully this can help you, help me make a decision loool. I own an exterior cleaning business so I will be out all day either talking on the phone or listening to podcasts. I then go straight to the gym and listen to music whilst workoing out. I do Bible study and make notes on what I learn on my phone, along with typing out answers to contribute to my religious meetings, I also use it to show videos whilst out preaching. I am going on holiday soon and want to take so great photos of family and architecture to hang on my walll when I get back. Also I am creating a 1 to 1 chess course and will be running this as hobby all through my phone, so I will be using zoom and Lichess a lot. I also enjoy using Netflix, Disney+ and YT. I dont play any games on my phone other than chess.

Sorry if that was too much information and I'm sure most of it was irrelevant, however I just wanted to give you insight into how I use my phone on a daily basis. Thank so much for reading through all of this, I propably would have kept scrolling lol. Any advice would be greatly apreciated. Thanks again to you all.
