The statue of Gordo and Tracy...

Okay I just binged the whole series and I have a question. Not the usual questions about the statue either, I found those while looking up mine lol.

So my question, is it just me or is the statue in like, really poor taste? Who decided the best way to honor two heros was to depict them in skin tight outfits at the moment of their excruciating, agonizing, and messy deaths? Just because it was their most heroic moment doesn't necessarily mean the optics of it are particularly inspiring. That was a tough scene to watch.

It just feels like the equivalent of a Titanic memorial depicting people freezing to death at sea. Or a 9/11 memorial depicting the moment the towers fell in photorealistic bronze. Its the imagery I'd expect from a memorial that aims to teach a cautionary tale, like some that exist for victims of drunk driving, not one for honoring fallen heroes. I just can't get over feeling just how poor taste it is and I'm wondering if I'm alone lol
