Hello! my partner and I are looking to book a trip to boston and acadia this september. I would appreciate some feedback on general itinerary. I'm not sure what requires more or less time.

Current plan:

Saturday: arrive around noon

sunday: all day boston

monday: morning in boston, then get rental car and head to acadia.

tuesday: all day in acadia/bar harbor

wednesday: all day acadia/bar harbor

thursday: return towards boston in morning.

friday: flight early morning

I was considering spending the night in boston monday as well, then heading to acadia tuesday morning, but not sure if that works better or not.
