Anybody just have this happen to them?
I got an initial notification that my prime membership that I subscribed to yesterday was just cancelled today…on its own.
Then I get another notification saying it’s requesting a refund. I’ve never had this happen with any of my subscriptions. Is this a glitch regarding Prime, or is this something to do with my account?
Just remembering when I was a youngin, in the days of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, some stores (such as EB games, Big W, and Toys R Us) would host events where you would have to go into store and talk to the cashier to be able to get certain legendary Pokémon transferred into your game. I remember seeing these events in newspapers as a kid. Out of these, I received 2 Jirachi, and 1 Arceus. I missed out on the Darkrai event.
Nowadays these things don’t happen. Makes me kinda sad.
Just remembering the time when I found a picture of a shark on the internet, and it reminded me of Boris Johnson.
Anyone else see the resemblance?
Just remembering that time my brother and I had one of these and would run around the grocery store scanning absolutely everything we could to find the best monster to battle each other with.
Toys from those days were so innovative. Makes me nostalgic. Who else had one?
Just remembering that time when Rabanne released their best perfume to date. It was like nothing I had smelled previously, and it was the undisputed king of the 1 million line.
I remember it started off with that signature sweetness that 1 million is known for, then the hazelnut quickly shined through, but it wasn’t off putting the sweetness, it rather complimented it very well. Then after a couple hours it dried down into a beautiful fresh fragrance with a hint of sweetness. The evolution of this fragrance as it dried down was something to behold. I’ve never smelled another fragrance that evolved over time as much as this one did, and for an EDT it lasted and projected all day.
I remember I came into unfortunate circumstances and had to sell my 40+ perfumes, this one included, not knowing they would discontinue it shortly after. I still beat myself up for it.
I always wonder why they decided to stop making this one. It truly was a one of a kind, and if they kept it, it probably would’ve been their best seller for years to come. I guess Rabanne just don’t like making money. Now they just make the most average perfumes…such as phantom…ugh.
Anyone know why they decided to discontinue this one?
My brother and I both had one of these when we were kids. Mine was blue, his was red. They were toys from the mega man NT warrior anime and Battle Network video games. They brought the idea of having your own virtual fighting friend to life, and my brother and I both absolutely loved these things….that is when they would work.
They were good for about a good couple days, then suddenly they would erase all of your progress. Forcing you to start from scratch and it would never save again from there. My brother and I being the savvy kids we were, discovered that we could just unscrew the backing and play around with the little bearing ball inside for a few seconds, the screw it back on, and it would work like new again….for another couple days, then it would go back to erasing everything.
It was great fun while it lasted. Part of me wants to see them make a comeback with a newer model. But that seems like a pipe dream at this point in time.
Just remembering that time when I would come home from school everyday and immediately hop on the family laptop to get on the internet and play Dragonfable. It was an rpg like no other I had seen at the time. Its unique style had, and still has such a charm to it. The story dialogue is quite amusing too.
I remember always wanting to buy the dragon amulet for my character, more than likely a knight knowing my tastes at the time, but alas, I never ended up building enough courage to ask my parents to buy it for me.
I also remember other games from the same creators such as Adventure Quest, AQ Worlds, and Mech Quest just to name a few.
I might just hop on and give it another go after all this time.
Just remembering that time I decided to be a bit rebellious and eat 2 whole cup noodles in one sitting. It was risky business, but at the time, it was a risk I was willing to take.
I still can’t believe I managed to conquer that beast.
I remember I was nostalgic of the moment I experienced as a kid when I had decided I was finally grown enough go ahead and tackle 2 packets of Maggi chicken flavoured noodles. I truly felt like a man in that moment. Eating this brought me back to that precious time.
