Etihad just began service to my home airport and I have a shitload of AAdvantage miles, trying to plan a trip to Asia this summer and hoping to book thru AUH for the trip out (will be visiting family in California on the way back, so plan to book it as separate tickets). By searching around it seems I should be able to do that directly thru the AA website, but when I actually go on it seems to be very hit or miss in terms of actually finding the Etihad flights. Nothing available at all more than ~2 weeks out and even then I can find the flights to AUH but not able to find connecting travel to my final destination.

Am I missing something? ​
