So i got my Remarkable 2 almost 2.5 years ago now and I've been loving it ever since. I take it with me everywhere I go and it has replaced most uses of paper in my life.

But a few months ago I noticed this weird shape on the screen, very faint under most lighting conditions and barely visible. Because it is so faint I'm not sure if it's always been there and I never noticed it before, or if it only showed up recently. I added two images, one of the screen as it normally is and edit where I upped the contrast to make the shape more noticable.

As you can see it sits right in the middle of the screen and is a symmetrical pill-shape. It persists between screen refreshes, I tried to restart the device several times already. I should also say that I'm not noticing any faults with the screen itself. I haven't noticed any problems with it displaying things or not reacting to touch/writing properly.

Because the shape is so symmetrical I think it might not be a fault, just a part of the screen that I simply never noticed before. But I have not been able to find any info or images online that match what I see on my remarkable.

So I wondered if anyone else with a Remarkable 2 has seen this as well on their device, and knows if it's a screen defect or a normal part of the device?

I'm not bothered by it being there, just worried that it's a slumbering defect that might break my screen if I don't adress it. If anyone can ease my fears I would appreciate it!
