Question for fund allocation on seperate brokers.
25 and have been investing for about a year.
This might be a stupid question, but some brokers offer some protection to a certain value (Eg. In case of broker agency going bankrupt, they can insure your money to a certain extend.)
It I use two brokers, to maximise the insurance for my money, will I lose out on potential gains? For example I invest 10k into the same stock but on two brokers, versus the total of 20k on one broker?
In theory should it gain the same amount of interest? Or would I be loosing out on cumulative interest?
Also any feedback on allocations would be welcome!
