What would you do to maximize the value of the supercomputer in your pocket?

I'm looking at a 2023 4S with about 8 months left on the warranty and I'd like to get the Porsche extended warranty. Is it worth doing the PPI to get a quote from the dealership vs a 3rd party warranty assuming the exclusions are comparable? Should I just hold out for a CPO?
