My mother’s ring.
The beautiful ring was found with my mother’s jewelry after she passed. It was very tarnished when we found it but it cleaned up quite nicely.
My sister nor I recall her ever wearing it. I’m guessing it was passed down to her from her mother.
The jeweler who cleaned it indicated it was spinel. They didn’t say synthetic spinel, but I believe it probably is.
I haven’t been able to find the mark in any databases.
If anyone knows anything about the mark or have insights into the period or anything else I’d be very grateful.
