Hi all,

We’re moving house in the next month, the village we’re moving to doesn’t have gas mains and every house operates on oil.

Before moving we’ve been considering installing a heat pump within the first year (before the war started but not even more so due to oil prices).

It’s a four bed detached house circa 1970s.

What are people’s experiences with bills? Will I have to change radiators etc?

Anyone have a rough cost monthly and an installation cost? The government are still doing the incentive so we’d like to take advantage of that before it ends.

When you installed yours did you go with an energy company or local person?

I have no idea about heat pumps and even after researching I’m still a bit confused
