More than two decades in the classroom, and suddenly vacations are happening frequently (family trips no less) during instructional days. I get some trips for family or other important life events. But, these are vacations to Disney World and such. And I'm getting asked to provide work catch up, or extensions on assignments and extra support to finish? Same for kids on sports teams! What is going on? Confused out West.
