Spent a summer driving around Europe, wanted to try something different so i built Narrativ a tematic AI Tour Guide.
Last year I drove through Europe in my van. I wanted something that would take me to the weird, dark, lesser-known corners of a city — not the sanitized highlights. I'm particularly interested on dark crime, and through Slovenia i could find some interesting places thanks to that.
When I got home, I built it.
Narrativ generates full AI audio walking tours for any city, any theme. Dark history, romance, architecture, food markets, war, historic, etc. It narrates each stop like a proper guide — not bullet points, actual storytelling. Works offline too, which mattered a lot when I was with no signal.
Stack: React + Capacitor (iOS/Android), Node/Express backend, Supabase, Google Gemini for the tour generation, RevenueCat for IAP.
