So my job pays me 21 an hour + 10% after hitting 3000 dollars in a month. It’s honestly not bad for someone with 1-3 years experience or a little slower. But my thing is I’ve been grooming for 5+ years. I’m very efficient. This month I brought my employers the most revenue, and I’ve been consistent too, even on the months I took time off I still brought in good numbers. Yet I get paid the least because I don’t get enough hours. I can get them but I hate the idea of trading time for money. But today when I seen my paycheck I was so devastated to see I barely made 1000 dollars. I work 4 days out the week and I leave early because I’m done with my dogs while still meeting my expected daily revenue. So I found another place, yes I’ll get paid less starting out because I need to build up my clientele , but my pay will match my work. I can groom a good amount of dogs and leave when I want while still having my paycheck match my work. I slowly been planning my exit ,I have my savings ready, work lined up, and I really don’t want to give this company any more extra money or any of my time that won’t be in my pockets. They aren’t bad folks but I’m definitely not a good fit for them. I’d appreciate honest feedback or criticism.
