Looking to make a purchase soon on a new set of binos. I’ve had a few sets leading up to this point but I’m ready to get into a super nice set. I’m looking between 31A, 31D, and building my own set with a similar L3 tube the 31A has (performance wise) in a housing of my choice and rpo 4.0 glass. If you have experience with any of these units or even all of them, give me a hand in deciding! Budget is not a concern.

How does the pvs31a stack up against all of the new housing/optic combos on the market today. Been doing lots of research and have plans to purchase 31s within this month. I’ve heard the 31A optic/build makes it a superior bino with image quality and performance above all the built binos. Also have heard some differing opinions. Would love some experienced users with time on both to leave some feedback.
