I am looking to travel to China at the beginning of January and am closing in on a final trip itinerary! I would love any feedback on my budget or trip plan! Is it too ambitious? Am I spending too long in any one area?
On my budget, does anything seem priced too low? Am I over budgeting? Am I underbudgeting?
For souvenirs, I am looking to purchase a small white nephrite stone in HK and have a craftsman in Fenghuang set it into a ring. I would like a painting or maybe a scholar's stone from Yangshuo, and then a fine set of silk pajamas in Shanghai!
If you have any knowledge of what stores or locations specifically in these cities would be best for me to shop in, let me know!
Does my food budget seem too high or low in any city?
Do I have accurate pricing for interior travel?
Lastly, is there anything you think I should know before departure? This will be my first time solo travelling and will be attempting to travel out of a 35L bag.
