Last February i had fusion surgery. I found out at. 6 month post op the screw on my right at S1 had cracked. Despite this, my recovery went well until about January when i started having a different kind;of pain in my sacrum area- not sciatic, more like deep bone pain. At my one year post op, i told my surgeon and he ordered a CAT scan. It showed no fusion anteriorly or posteriorly at S1.

I am scheduled to have another surgery May 20th.

Anyone experience this? What was your recovery like second time around?
