Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something frustrating and get some advice.

I recently bought a domain ukbhulekh. co. in and started building an informational website around land records (basically guides on how to check bhulekh online). Everything was going fine, and I even started getting some traffic from Google (around 1000+ impressions).

Suddenly, my domain got suspended.

After contacting my hosting provider, I found out that the suspension was done by NIXI due to “invalid registrant details.”
They asked me to submit ID + address proof, which I did.

Then things got worse…

They started asking for:

  • Relationship with Uttarakhand Govt
  • Authorization letter from Govt
  • Notarized documents

I clarified multiple times that:

  • This is NOT an official website
  • It’s just an informational guide
  • I’m not claiming any govt affiliation

But their final response was basically:
👉 They won’t remove the suspension without those documents.

Now I’m stuck because obviously I can’t provide any government authorization.

My questions:

  1. Has anyone faced this kind of issue with .co.in domains?
  2. Is there ANY way to recover such a domain?
  3. Or should I just move on and buy a new .com domain?

Would really appreciate any suggestions or similar experiences 🙏
