My landlord has a mental illness. This is evident because she will communicate with me in a strange, aggressive and rude way, then flip and offer to buy my kids gifts. It's really awful. I've been called inappropriate names just because she's in a bad mood. Recently my funds got locked in my account. I let her know rent will ne late and I don't mi d being served n4. She sends me a paragraph long rant about how she's movingng to evict
UNLESS I "agree to her new terms".(I know my rights, sge cannot evict without ltb hearing, she will not take me to the board because I will mention being attacked buy her and her animals) Living here is already so uncomfortable because we don't have privacy so we are planning to leave. She knows this because she listens to our conversations. She begins to demand I tell her when I'm planning on moving, so she can choose to evict me or not. These threats are becoming common place. More than once a month. I'm working on Leaving but I don't think she should be allowed to threaten, harass, demean me like this. Especially when the unit is dangerously illegal. Can I call by law right before I move out and report this or just move on?
